A unique immersive 19th-century experience for international organized groups — the first of its kind in Southern Russia
Get a Group OfferHello, dear tour operators and international group travelers!
We are delighted to welcome you to our project "Theatrical Journeys" — the first immersive theatrical excursion service in Southern Russia, fully set in the atmosphere of the 19th century.
If your groups are looking for more than standard tours in Russia — if they want a genuine cultural adventure where history comes alive, where every participant becomes part of literary and historical events — then you’ve come to the right place.
Our website Teatrkmv.ru is the gateway to a world where the Caucasian Mineral Waters (KMV) region turns into a living stage filled with drama, music, ballet, and authentic tastes of the past.
We specially tailor our programs for international groups to make your stay in Russia unforgettable, emotional, and comfortable.
In an era of increasingly personalized travel, we offer something truly exclusive: not ordinary excursions, but immersive performances where your group is not just a passive audience — but active participants.
Imagine your travelers strolling through the historic streets of Pyatigorsk, Kislovodsk, or Inozemtsevo accompanied by professional actors dressed in 19th-century costumes. They hear live romances, watch ballet miniatures, taste wines and dishes once enjoyed by Mikhail Lermontov, Mathilde Kschessinska, and their contemporaries.
This is not sightseeing — this is deep immersion into Russian literature, culture, and history that leaves a lasting impression.
Our tours are finalists of the All-Russian National Tourism Award "Route of the Year", which confirms their quality and uniqueness.
We usually work with small private groups to preserve the intimate atmosphere, but for organized international tourist groups we offer flexible options: private tours, combined programs that easily integrate into your larger Russia itinerary.
No language barrier — performances and narration can be delivered in English or Chinese upon request. We also adapt the storytelling to highlight connections between Russian culture and European or Chinese history.
Each experience lasts 1.5 hours, takes place in authentic historical locations, and combines theatre, live music, and gastronomy. We recommend combining 2–3 routes for a full 2–3 day KMV program, including comfortable transfers and accommodation in partner sanatoriums.
A journey inspired by the life and tragic fate of Mikhail Lermontov, the great Russian poet known worldwide for A Hero of Our Time. Your group walks the streets where this masterpiece was born, visits Lermontov’s small house-museum with original artifacts, climbs to the Poet’s Grotto, and witnesses a live reconstruction of his fatal duel. Actors portray Lermontov, his friends, and his rival, performing scenes right at the historic sites. The experience ends with a tasting of Tsimlyanskoye — the sparkling wine Lermontov himself drank. Ideal for: literature lovers, history enthusiasts. Duration: 1.5 hours.
Step into the world of Russian ballet and imperial salons! This tour is dedicated to Mathilde Kschessinska — the legendary prima ballerina of the Mariinsky Theatre and mistress of the future Tsar Nicholas II. In the magnificent Blue Hall of the S.M. Kirov Sanatorium (a 19th-century historic building), your group will enjoy live ballet miniatures, operatic romances, violin accompaniment, and desserts based on authentic imperial recipes (including Kipferli — the ancestors of the modern croissant). Actors reveal court intrigues, dances, and the dramatic fate of Kschessinska, who emigrated to Europe with Prince Andrei Romanov after the revolution. Ideal for: ballet and arts lovers, luxury & romance seekers. Duration: 1.5 hours.
A route for gourmets and wine enthusiasts! This experience explores Lermontov’s "sparkling stories" together with his cousin Katya Bykhovets and the innkeeper Johann. Your group visits the historic settlement of Inozemtsevo (formerly the German-Scottish colony Karras), where actors reenact scenes from the poet’s life. You then taste five types of sparkling wine (including authentic 19th-century varieties) paired with artisanal cheeses. This is more than a tasting — it’s the story of how champagne became a symbol of risk and pleasure (“He who doesn’t take risks doesn’t drink champagne”). Ideal for: wine tours, gastronomic travelers. Duration: 1.5 hours.
All routes are conducted in authentic locations with professional actors and designed for comfort: convenient transfers, photo/video permission, small souvenirs. We adapt to the season — outdoor elements in summer, cozy indoor venues in winter.
